Yes. An AI receptionist can check your openings, offer a time and book it while the caller is still on the line. Cedri does this in English and French, then texts a confirmation to you and to the caller, and a reminder about 24 hours before. It costs $18.99 CAD a month with 30 answered calls included.

How a booking happens on a Cedri call

Cedri is an AI phone receptionist for small businesses in Canada. It answers the business line in English and French, books the appointment during the call, and texts the details to the owner and to the customer. On each call, step by step:

  • It asks the questions your trade needs before it books, like the service address, what is wrong, or whether it is urgent, and writes the answers on the booking.
  • It checks your openings and your business hours, offers a time, and confirms it with the caller.
  • The caller gets a confirmation text when the booking is made, then a reminder about 24 hours before. They reply 1 to confirm or 2 to cancel.
  • You get a text with the caller’s number and a short summary after every answered call, and an email for each new booking.

Moving or cancelling

Callers can move or cancel by calling back from the number they booked with: Cedri finds the booking and changes it in the same conversation. By text, they reply 2 to cancel.

Where the booking lands

Bookings go into your Cedri agenda, in the app and the dashboard. Sync with Google Calendar and Outlook is in beta: with Google, bookings appear in a calendar called Cedri, and busy times come from your main calendar. Integrations.

What it leaves to you

Cedri books into open slots; it does not promise an arrival time, diagnose a problem over the phone or quote a price that is not in your service list, your answers or your website. On trades with emergencies, like plumbing, heating, electrical and towing, a caller with an emergency is put through to your number instead of being offered a slot next week, or Cedri takes an urgent message when there is no number to transfer to.
